Thank you to everyone who joined the Regional Priority Plan Community Wildfire Meeting in Tres Pinos on March 26th! Your feedback was essential in helping us establish prioritization criteria for wildfire mitigation and prevention projects throughout San Benito County. We were also excited to see such strong community engagement during the review of the current list of projects and the identification of new ones to consider. We appreciate your time, insights, and commitment to building a safer, more resilient San Benito County. Continued involvement from the community is key to the success of these efforts, and we look forward to sharing the final Regional Prioity Plan with you soon!

Please join us on Wednesday, March 26th for the Regional Priority Plan Community Wildfire Meeting, hosted by the San Benito Wildfire Resilience Program (SBWRP). The meeting will be held from 5:30 - 8:00 PM at at Bolado Park, Oak Room, 9000 Airline Hwy, Tres Pinos.

At this community meeting we will provide residents with information and gather input on potential wildfire mitigation projects in San Benito County. The discussion will be centered around the Regional Priority Plan (RPP) which will recommend a set of priority projects aimed at reducing risk and damage to natural resources and communities. Having an RPP is a key requirement for continuing and expanding the county’s eligibility for funding for wildfire mitigation related projects. These projects represent the implementation of the Community Wildfire Protection Plan, which you, the community, helped to develop in 2024.
Dinner by Mattia Pizza provided to registrants, courtesy of grant funding obtained through UC Cooperative Extension. The meeting will begin promptly at 6:00PM. Reserve your spot today HERE! Walk-ins will also be welcome.
Please share this important information with your neighbors and friends who live in high wildfire risk areas of San Benito County.
