Zone Zero: The California Board of Forestry and Fire Protection are in the process of adopting new legislation that will require residents living in the State Responsibility Area (SRA) and Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones in the Local Responsibility Area (LRA) to to reduce combustible materials within the first 5 feet of homes and other structures also known as Zone Zero.
