CARCD Central Coast RCD Regional Fall Meeting

A group of people seated in a rustic room, attentively listening, surrounded by tables and a bar area.

The San Benito RCD hosted the annual Fall 2024 CARCD Central Coast Regional Meeting at Paicines Ranch in San Benito County. There was a great showing from RCDs in the central coast region, as well as partners from CARCD, NRCS, Department of Conservation, Pacific Policy Group, Point Blue STRAW, and more. This meeting gave regional partners in attendance an opportunity to give reports, updates, discuss state policies and funding for RCDs, propose officer elections, and discuss the status of the region. Additionally, attendees were given a tour of Paicines Ranch along with an overview of their Beaver Dam Analog Project along the San Benito River .

Thank you to all who attended, and to Paicines Ranch and their staff for providing an excellent venue.
